Mobile Robot Platform Debugging

Hands-on experience bringing up and debugging mobile robot, UGV, and intelligent vehicle platforms. Work includes connecting sensors, onboard computers, chassis control, power systems, and data-acquisition workflows for real-platform perception experiments.
Jackal UGV platform with Velodyne VLP-16 LiDAR

Jackal-based UGV platform

Connected an onboard computer with a Velodyne VLP-16 LiDAR sensor and chassis-control interface. Also integrated a laptop-class compute platform with an Intel 14600H-class CPU and an RTX 4060 GPU onto the same robot, including power delivery, signal connections, and system-level interaction.

Ranger Mini-class UGV with Livox LiDAR

Ranger Mini-class UGV platform

Worked with a Livox LiDAR setup and communication with an Intel N100-class onboard computing unit for mobile robot perception and data acquisition.

ARM-based robotic computing boards

ARM-based compute boards

Experience with Raspberry Pi 4B, RK3566, and RK3588 computing boards for embedded robotic systems and platform-side computing.

MCU-based racing vehicle platform

MCU-based racing vehicle

Developed and debugged video-signal processing and low-level control for an MCU-based racing vehicle platform.
